A quick, no-cook breakfast that combines rolled oats, peanut butter, and protein powder soaked overnight for a creamy, nutrient-dense meal perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (45g) Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 scoop (approx. 30g) Protein Powder (vanilla or peanut butter flavored)
  • 2 tablespoons (32g) Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) Milk (dairy, almond, or oat)
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) Chia Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon (20g) Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • A tiny pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Add the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt to a mason jar.
  2. Shake the jar gently to mix the dry ingredients evenly.
  3. Pour in the milk, then add the peanut butter and honey (if using).
  4. Stir thoroughly with a whisk or fork until the peanut butter is incorporated and the mixture resembles a thick batter.
  5. Tighten the lid and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. In the morning, stir the oats well. Add a splash of milk if the consistency is too thick.
  7. Serve cold directly from the jar.

Notes

Do not use instant oats as they turn to mush, or steel-cut oats as they remain too hard. Natural peanut butter with oil separation works best for creaminess. If using a gritty protein powder, let the oats sit for 8-10 hours to soften. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
