A creamy, protein-packed smoothie that tastes like a melted peanut butter cup but is secretly good for you. Ready in 5 minutes with simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice (whole, oat, or unsweetened almond)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds

Instructions

  1. Peel the banana and slice into 3-4 chunks.
  2. Pour the milk into the blender first.
  3. Add banana chunks, peanut butter, protein powder, and optional seeds.
  4. Add ice cubes on top.
  5. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then high for 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  6. Check texture; if too thick, add milk 2 tablespoons at a time and blend again. If too thin, add more ice or half a banana.
  7. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a thicker, milkshake-like texture, use a frozen banana. If using chunky peanut butter, expect small peanut bits. For dairy-free, use oat milk or unsweetened almond milk. For a vegan version, use plant-based protein powder and dairy-free milk. For lower sugar, use an unripe banana and add a pinch of cinnamon.
