A quick and easy no-bake holiday treat made with white chocolate, butter, cereal, and candy corn. Perfect for gifting or last-minute parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips (high-quality like Ghirardelli or Guittard)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 3 cups puffed rice cereal or crispy rice cereal (like Rice Krispies)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt (for topping)
  • Optional: Crushed peppermint candies or white chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Line a standard baking sheet with parchment paper, ensuring it lies flat without wrinkles.
  2. Place white chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. The residual heat should melt the chocolate. If chunks remain, microwave for another 15 seconds and stir again. Do not overheat.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth, glossy, and fluid.
  4. In a separate large bowl, toss the cereal and candy corn together to ensure even distribution.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and candy corn. Gently fold everything together with a silicone spatula, being careful not to crush the cereal.
  6. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Sprinkle flaky sea salt or extra candy corn on top, pressing gently to adhere.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely firm.
  9. Remove from the fridge, lift the parchment paper, and break the bark into irregular pieces by tearing rather than cutting.

Notes

Do not overheat the white chocolate as it burns easily. Ensure all equipment is completely dry to prevent the chocolate from seizing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain crunch. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free crispy rice cereal.
