Delicious Salted Caramel Apple Cider Mimosa

Salted Caramel Apple Cider Mimosa - featured image

A cozy, sophisticated fall cocktail featuring fresh apple cider, sparkling wine, and a rich salted caramel swirl. This easy-to-make drink is perfect for autumn gatherings and delivers a complex balance of sweet, salty, and fizzy flavors.

Ingredients

  • Apple cider (fresh-pressed or 100% juice)
  • Sparkling wine (Prosecco or Champagne)
  • Salted caramel sauce (thick consistency)
  • Fine sea salt
  • Cinnamon stick (for garnish)
  • Apple slices (thinly sliced, Gala or Fuji)

Instructions

  1. Chill the apple cider and sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  2. Add one teaspoon of salted caramel sauce to the bottom of a champagne flute or wine glass.
  3. Use the back of a spoon to smear the caramel up the sides of the glass to ensure flavor in every sip.
  4. Pour chilled apple cider into the glass, filling it about two-thirds full.
  5. Slowly pour the chilled sparkling wine over the cider, aiming for the center to preserve carbonation.
  6. Garnish with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick. Add a tiny pinch of sea salt if desired.
  7. Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.

Notes

Do not make ahead of time as the carbonation will disappear. If the drink is too sweet, add a splash more cider or a drop of lemon juice. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute sparkling wine with sparkling apple juice or ginger ale. Ensure ingredients are well-chilled for the best texture and flavor.
