These easy copycat turkey cheddar lunchable stackers are a quick and satisfying snack made with just a few simple ingredients. Perfect for lunchboxes, road trips, or afternoon slumps, they taste better than the original and come together in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Crackers (square or round butter crackers)
  • Sliced turkey breast (oven-roasted or honey-roasted, thinly sliced)
  • Cheddar cheese (sharp or mild, block cheese sliced thin)
  • Yellow mustard (optional)
  • Pickle slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your cheese: Slice the block of cheddar into pieces roughly the same size as your crackers, about 1/8-inch thick. Aim for 12-16 slices from an 8-ounce block.
  2. Prepare your turkey: Lay turkey slices flat on a cutting board. If large, cut into squares or rectangles slightly smaller than your crackers. For smaller slices, fold in half or into quarters.
  3. Optional mustard smear: Spread a very thin layer of yellow mustard on each cracker using a butter knife or the back of a spoon.
  4. Layer the turkey: Place a piece of turkey (or folded pile) onto each cracker and press down gently.
  5. Add the cheese: Place a slice of cheddar on top of the turkey and press gently to secure.
  6. Optional pickle topper: Add a thin dill pickle slice on top of the cheese if desired.
  7. Repeat and arrange: Continue building stacks until all ingredients are used. Arrange in a single layer in a container, or stack with wax paper between layers.
  8. Chill before serving (optional): Refrigerate assembled stacks for 10-15 minutes to let flavors meld and cheese firm up.

Notes

For best results, let cheese come to room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing. Keep crackers separate from turkey and cheese until ready to eat to maintain crispness. Assemble stacks the night before for lunchboxes, storing components separately if possible.
