Quick and healthy no-bake energy balls made with peanut butter, oats, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for on-the-go snacks or post-workout fuel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups (135 g) rolled oats
  • ¾ cup (190 g) natural peanut butter
  • ¼ cup (85 g) honey
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup (45 g) mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Measure out all ingredients and have them ready.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and honey. Stir vigorously for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  4. Fold in rolled oats and chia seeds until mixture is sticky but manageable. Adjust consistency with more oats or peanut butter/honey if needed.
  5. Fold in mini chocolate chips or dried fruit if using.
  6. Scoop about one tablespoon (15 ml) of mixture and roll into tight balls. Place on a baking sheet or plate.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  8. Enjoy chilled or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze for longer storage.

Notes

Use natural peanut butter without added oils or sugars for best binding and flavor. Chill the balls to prevent crumbling or stickiness. Adjust consistency by adding oats or peanut butter/honey as needed. Wet hands slightly to prevent sticking when rolling. Store refrigerated for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
