A quick and easy cocktail made with apple cider, Prosecco, and a cinnamon-sugar rim. Perfect for fall gatherings, brunches, or any occasion that calls for a little sparkle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz apple cider per glass
  • 4 oz Prosecco or champagne per glass
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup per glass (optional)
  • Apple slices or cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon or orange wedge for rimming the glass

Instructions

  1. In a small shallow dish, combine 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. Mix with a fork until evenly combined.
  2. Run a lemon or orange wedge around the rim of a champagne flute to moisten it.
  3. Hold the glass upside down and dip the moistened rim into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, twisting slightly for even coverage. Tap off excess and set upright.
  4. Pour 4 ounces of apple cider into the prepared glass, pouring slowly to avoid disturbing the rim.
  5. Slowly pour 4 ounces of chilled Prosecco or champagne into the glass, pouring at an angle to preserve bubbles.
  6. If desired, drizzle in 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup and stir gently.
  7. Garnish with a thin apple slice or cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Notes

Chill Prosecco and apple cider for at least 2 hours before making. Rim glasses just before serving to prevent the cinnamon sugar from dissolving. For a mocktail, replace Prosecco with non-alcoholic sparkling cider or ginger ale.
