A simple, visually stunning, and delicious non-alcoholic mocktail that balances the tartness of cranberry with the sweetness of sparkling cider and orange juice. Perfect for holidays and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 part 100% pure cranberry juice
  • 1 part fresh orange juice
  • Sparkling cider or non-alcoholic champagne (chilled)
  • Fresh cranberries (for garnish)
  • Orange slices (for garnish)
  • Ice cubes or crushed ice
  • Honey or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness adjustment)

Instructions

  1. In a juice pitcher, combine one part cranberry juice with one part orange juice. Stir gently to blend.
  2. Taste the mixture; if too sour, add a teaspoon of honey or agave syrup.
  3. Place champagne flutes or glasses in the freezer for at least 10 minutes to chill.
  4. Remove glasses from the freezer and fill them three-quarters full with ice.
  5. Slowly pour the cranberry-orange juice blend into each glass, filling them about halfway.
  6. Top each glass with chilled sparkling cider or non-alcoholic champagne, pouring down the side to preserve bubbles.
  7. Garnish with fresh cranberries and an orange slice.
  8. Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are cold before mixing to preserve carbonation. The sparkling element should be added just before serving to maintain fizz. The cranberry-orange base can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance.
