A warm, fudgy brownie dip baked in a pie plate, decorated like a Christmas tree with green drizzle and festive sprinkles. Perfect for holiday parties and ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (18 oz) brownie mix
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup green candy melts or white chocolate chips + green food coloring
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Star-shaped pretzels or star sprinkles
  • Assorted Christmas sprinkles
  • Mini candy canes, crushed
  • Pretzel sticks or mini pretzels (for dipping)
  • Graham crackers or shortbread cookies (for dipping)
  • Fresh strawberries or apple slices (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate or shallow baking dish lightly with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water. Stir with a whisk or spatula until just combined — about 30 strokes. Do not overmix.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly with a spatula. The batter should be about 1 inch deep.
  4. Bake for 20-22 minutes. The edges should look set and slightly cracked, but the center should still jiggle when you gently shake the dish.
  5. Let it cool for 5 minutes. The dip continues to cook from residual heat.
  6. While it cools, melt the candy melts. Place the green candy melts and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. If using white chocolate chips, add a few drops of green food coloring.
  7. Drizzle the green chocolate over the warm brownie dip in zigzag lines to mimic Christmas tree branches.
  8. Immediately press the star-shaped pretzel at the top. Sprinkle crushed candy canes and assorted Christmas sprinkles over the drizzle.
  9. Serve warm with pretzels, cookies, and fruit for dipping.

Notes

Do not overbake; the center should jiggle for a gooey texture. Use a light-colored pie plate to prevent over-browning. Room temperature eggs mix better. For a gluten-free version, use a GF brownie mix and certified GF sprinkles. For dairy-free, use coconut oil and dairy-free chocolate chips.
