A quick and easy punch made with bourbon, maple syrup, and apple cider, perfect for fall gatherings. Ready in just 10 minutes, it’s a crowd-pleaser that tastes like it took hours.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (960 ml) apple cider
  • 1 ½ cups (360 ml) bourbon
  • ⅓ cup (80 ml) pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup (120 ml) fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
  • Ice for serving
  • Orange slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pitcher or punch bowl by rinsing it out.
  2. Roll oranges and lemon on the counter, cut in half, and juice to get ½ cup orange juice and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Strain out seeds.
  3. Pour apple cider into the pitcher, then add bourbon, maple syrup, and fresh citrus juices.
  4. Stir gently for about 30 seconds until the maple syrup is fully incorporated. Taste and adjust if needed.
  5. Add ice (large block or cubes) to the pitcher.
  6. Garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
  7. Pour into individual glasses filled with ice and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use cold ingredients. The punch can be prepared up to 2 hours ahead (without ice) and refrigerated. Add ice and garnish just before serving. For a non-alcoholic version, omit bourbon and add extra apple cider or ginger ale.
