This easy 3-ingredient candy corn layered sugar cookie bark is a buttery, salty-sweet, crunchy treat that transforms candy corn into chewy pockets of sweetness. Perfect for Halloween parties, fall movie nights, or a quick dessert that looks fancy with zero effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough (slice-and-bake style)
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups candy corn

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the long sides.
  2. Let the sugar cookie dough sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  3. Press the cookie dough into the prepared pan, breaking it into pieces and scattering evenly. Press to about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Bake the cookie base for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown around the edges but still slightly soft in the center.
  5. Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle the candy corn evenly over the hot cookie base, pressing gently into the soft cookie.
  6. Return the pan to the oven for 2-3 more minutes, until the candy corn looks slightly glossy and softens.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
  8. While the bark cools, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each, until smooth and glossy.
  9. Pour the melted white chocolate over the slightly cooled bark and spread evenly with a spatula.
  10. Let the bark set completely at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  11. Once set, lift the bark out of the pan using the parchment paper handles. Cut into irregular pieces with a sharp knife.

Notes

Don’t overbake the cookie base; it should be soft and chewy. Press candy corn into hot cookie immediately after baking. Watch white chocolate carefully to avoid burning. Let bark cool completely before cutting for clean edges. Use fresh candy corn for best texture.
